Tokens are the currency for cloud agent usage. Every message your AI agent processes costs tokens — the amount depends on the model and message length. All plans include pay-as-you-go token purchasing. The Free plan comes with 200K welcome tokens to get started.
Can I bring my own API keys?
Yes. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mode lets you use your own API keys from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, and more. Your keys are encrypted with AES-256 at rest. When using BYOK, you pay the provider directly — no token costs from us.
What's a cloud agent vs a local agent?
Cloud agents run on ClawHQ's infrastructure — always on, always reachable. Local agents run on your own machine via OpenClaw. You get unlimited local agents on every plan.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. You can cancel anytime — no contracts, no penalties.
